Sweet Grandma Gerry

Brad's grandmother passed away last Thursday, with the funeral on Saturday. We are very thankful that we were able to be with our family during this time. The service on Saturday was really wonderful, but sad because everyone misses her. The funeral displayed how Grandma Lewis lived her life for Christ and how she has passed this legacy not only to her 5 children and their spouses, but to her 15 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by all those who knew her.

Her children rise up and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:

Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.
Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain,
but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

Proverbs 31:28-30 (ESV)

Thanks for posting this, Amy. I was glad you and Brad were able to come back, I think it made everything a lot easier for everyone, especially Dad. I love you guys! I look forward to seeing you again.

So glad that you made it back safely. It was so good to see you - but the circumstances were hard. Thank you for posting such a nice tribute to Grandma. I was telling someone just today that we missed her so much and that no one can love you like a grandma loves you.... and she loved every one of us. She especially loved to hear about your travels and adventures! Until we talk again be safe and have fun -
Emily
